Moon Drift combines footage from a short exploratory project ‘The Shuttered Room’ with artist and dancer Tricia Anderson. The footage was then edited to create an embodied dreamscape. Inspired by rhythms of REM sleep the work uses body movement to imagine the moon’s gravitational pull as it acts on the ebb and flow of deep sleep brainwaves …. in dreams we follow the wake of the moon.
